Mainframe Robotics is a community-based FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team serving youth throughout the Wyoming Valley.  Team members gain hands-on experience in engineering, programming, CAD design, 3D printing, project management, fundraising, marketing, public speaking, and much more.

But we are about more than building competitive robots.  Throughout the season, team members develop valuable workforce and life skills through teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, professional communication, and real-world challenges.  We place a strong emphasis on community outreach, building partnerships, inspiring others to explore STEM, and embracing FIRST's core value of Gracious Professionalism.

Mainframe Robotics is funded and supported by our nonprofit organization, Wilkes-Barre Area Robotics, which provides the resources, fundraising support, and community partnerships that make our programs possible. Together, we are working to expand access to robotics, create opportunities for more young people, and develop the next generation of innovators, skilled professionals, and community leaders.
